PORTRAIT OF A NURSE




The PORTRAIT OF A NURSE Review Center is a new review center in the heart of San Pablo, designed for nursing graduates to prepare them to pass the Philippine Nurse Licensure Examination; it also guides them to become the image of a professional nurse with distinct quality and innate ability to express genuine concern for their fellow human beings. It strengthens to the ideals and purposes of the profession of nursing.

The Vision: To establish a comprehensive nursing review center in the heart of San Pablo and to the whole town of Laguna that will strengthen the nursing graduate's capability to pass the Philippine Nurse Licensure Examination, generate new ideas about the nature of nursing practice and promote high quality and consistency in educational programs.

The Mission: To meet the learning needs of the graduate nurses for the Philippines Nurse Licensure Examination, hold seminars, medical missions and training that define their respective competencies, to provide unique approaches to knowledge production, and to promote nursing perspectives to the health care community and the public with excellence.

General Program
Portrait of a Nurse Review Program offers a comprehensive review for the Philippine Board Examination that includes live lectures and practice exam which simulate the actual Local-RN examinations. It is intensive specialized review program lecturing all concepts of the BSN curriculum and the Core Competencies Framework integrated in the local board examinations.
Our reviewers are highly qualified faculty and seasoned reviewer who are experienced and proficient in scientific foundations and clinical applications of nursing principles. The reviewers and reviewees comprise a community learners with the reviewer as facilitator and the reviewee responsible for his or her own learning. Review strategies are varied so that reviewees are able to maximize their learning potentials.
The Review Program provides an opportunity to analyze, synthesize, evaluate and integrate knowledge, skills, and perspectives to pass the Philippine Nurse Licensure Examination through lots of practice test and examination drills designed to train critical thinking and to evaluate learning.
